"Imagine That" Studios was founded in 1994 by Allen Johnson after he was fired from his job.

Being of a philosophical mindset and possessing a positive outlook and a life-long love of photography, Allen shrugged and
decided to work for himself, pursuing his dream of photographing people during some of the happiest moments of their lives.

He finds that photographing  weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, family portraits (and especially those new bundles of joy) to be both challenging and rewarding  experiences.

Primarily self-taught in photography, Allen has studied under the legendary Monte Zucker and Clay Blackmore and has attended numerous seminars hosted by other luminaries in the people/event/portrait photography business.

Applying some of the skills acquired from studying under these masters of photography, Allen is able to deliver exquisite portraiture to his clientele. Additionally, he possesses an excellent photojournalistic eye for capturing those fleeting candid moments at your event -- naturally, as they occur.

Currently, "Imagine That" Studios is entering a new phase of photography as we excitedly plunge into the arena of digital photography. We have partnered with Kodak in a venture called ProShots, that allows us to present all of our images (even those shot on film) to our clients digitally. We make images available on a secure website where our clients, families and friends can view the shots from their event.

Now, interested folks that are scattered across the globe can have access to the images without having to pass around a "proof book".

Please contact us for more information about our studio and our open event dates. Allen would love to meet you and chat with you about your event or your family portrait needs.
Yes -- I golf.
A fairly new passion ;-)
